Candle Care & Safety Guidelines

Thank you for choosing our handcrafted candles! To ensure safe and enjoyable use, please follow these essential candle care and burning tips:

  1. Trim the Wick
Always trim the wick to ¼ inch before each use. This helps prevent uneven burning, excessive soot, and a high flame.
  2. Burn Within Sight
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Always extinguish the candle when leaving the room or going to sleep.
  3. Keep Away from Flammable Items
Ensure candles are placed away from flammable materials such as curtains, paper, or furniture.
  4. Use a Heat-Resistant Surface
Place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface to protect furniture and surfaces from heat damage.
  5. Avoid Drafts
Keep candles away from drafts, vents, fans, and air currents to prevent uneven burning, dripping, or excessive flickering.
  6. Burn Time
Do not burn candles for more than 4 hours at a time. Allow the candle to cool completely before relighting.
  7. Container Care
Discontinue use of a candle when 1/2 inch of wax remains in the container. This prevents overheating and potential damage to surfaces.
  8. Keep Away from Children and Pets
Always keep burning candles out of reach of children and pets to prevent accidents.
  9. Use a Snuffer
To extinguish the candle safely, use a candle snuffer or gently blow it out. Avoid splashing hot wax.
  10. Store Properly
Keep candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
